HelpAge India is a remarkable secular, not-for-profit organization in India, devoted to enhancing the quality of life of disadvantaged elderly individuals. Established in 1978, HelpAge India strives to help the elderly lead active, healthy, and dignified lives. The organization recently received the prestigious ‘UN Population Award 2020’, making it the only Indian organization to be so honored. This award acknowledges the organization's contribution to population issues and its excellent work during the Covid-19 pandemic. HelpAge India addresses elder needs and advocates for their rights, such as their right to Universal Pension, quality Healthcare, action against Elder Abuse and many more at a national, state and societal level with Central and State governments. The organization has direct interventions in the areas of Healthcare, Age care, Livelihoods, Disaster Response, as well as Advocacy and Awareness on rights and policies relating to elders. All donations to HelpAge India are eligible for 50% tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

📩 Job title: Senior Corporate Fundraising

📍 Location: Hyderabad, Telengana

🧳 Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience with PG / MBA.

💲Salary/Stipend: ND

✍️ Reporting to: Head of Resource Mobilization (AP & TS)

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be a Graduate.
  • Post-Graduation / MBA desirable
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of CSR law and other laws impacting corporate fundraising
  • Exposure to social marketing/concept marketing is desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Target achievement as per the organization’s objectives on Corporate Fundraising to ensure a sustained inflow of funds for HI through new and existing corporate partners.
  • Sensitization of corporates towards their Corporate Social Responsibility obligations
  • Study donor trends and identify attributes and expectations.
  • Conduct research to identify and maintain a strong database of potential donors from corporate, SME, foundations and PSU (CRM, CSR and employee engagements)
  • Assist the Management in devising effective fundraising strategies.
  • Assist and suggest programs for attracting donors and creating a brand image for the organization.
  • Manage a proposal cycle end-to-end.
  • Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the marketing.
  • Donor Relationship Management includes engagements and support for project visits, volunteering for corporates, HNI, or any other potential donors.
  • Incumbent would partake other responsibilities which are not mentioned above but are commensurate with this role in the charitable sector.

KEY TECHNICAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Empathetic towards social causes
  • Should have excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Should have excellent networking skills.
  • Self-driven & independent execution.
  • Should have well developed quantitative and analytical abilities.
  • Should have good knowledge of CSR laws in India.
  • Open to travel

Remuneration will be as per HelpAge India’s overall salary structure.
